Asset-Based Community Development
How do we engage members of the community and stakeholders to discover their experiences and design for the future?
It can be challenging designing engagement processes on your own and finding out how best to create safe spaces for discussions or deliberations. We support you from identifying the scope of engagement, to designing a meaningful process, collecting honest opinions, synthesising to actionable next steps or even co-designing with stakeholders and members of the community solutions of the future.
We have over two decades of experience and a strong track record in facilitating generative, meaningful and actionable dialogues, forums, discussions and developmental interventions. We have worked with organisations like NVPC, MCCY, PA, MSF, CDAC, NYC to facilitate large scale engagement sessions ranging on a diverse set of issues such as Integration, Family Violence, Community Development, Service Learning and Community Sharing Session.
How have we helped our clients?
Community Sharing Session
(People’s Association)
We design and facilitate citizen engagement sessions on a monthly basis for 12 months a year with new Citizens approx 70 to 130 per session. We produce reports after each session.
Family Violence (MSF)
A series of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) was conducted to understand what the views on Family Violence were, how might we reach out to the wider community and followed by a workshop to brainstorm potential projects
Alliance for Action for Corporate Purpose (NVPC)
We conducted stakeholder engagements – small group and large group engagements (physical and virtual) to gather input and feedback on the Corporate Purpose framework and blueprint.
Facilitators Circle
Sequoia hosts an action-oriented Community of Practice, Facilitators Circle, for experienced and aspiring Facilitators. The community made up of approximately 50 facilitators aims to advance the practice of stakeholder engagement in Singapore and regionally.
